Boxing fans got their money's worth as Peterson, showed his hometown what he's made of during his dominating 10 round, welterweight bout against 5'9, southpaw, Patrick Byrd of Flint.

Peterson was a winner on all Judge's Cards which gave Peterson an unanimous decision and the Hooters' Intercontinental Series Championship Welterweight Title Belt - still undefeated and is now 7-0.

Score Cards were: Judge, Eugene Acey 100-90 | Judge, Dale Grable 100-90 | Judge, Scott Dexter 97-93. Referee was Steve Daher.

Peterson went the distance in his first scheduled 10 round bout. Peterson said, "I'm glad it went 10 Rounds, I'm in good shape and now my trainers know I can go a steady ten and keep the pressure on.

"I injured my hand in the first round and again in the 5th or 6th round." Peterson continued, "I shook it off for a minute and then just used my jab for awhile until i needed my right hand, it was pretty painful but my adrenaline kicked in and kept me going for the rest of the fight."
Also fighting under Mad Bomber Productions for the first time, Professional, Cruiserweight, Rick Dufty, whose fight against southpaw, Larry Carter from Warren, Michigan got called to a majority draw due to a bleeding cut above Dufty's eye. (Dufty's record: won 3 (KO 3) + lost 2 (KO 1) + drawn 1 = 6.)
