Singers Amy Thomas, Jessica Rex and John Howley brought their singing talent to the stage at Stables on Wednesday night to take a shot at a free trip (all-expenses paid) to Las Vegas.

The new arrivals, along with singing duo Danielle & Laura and gymnast Jenna Rex brought a new sense of energy to the Stables' competition - heading into it's fourth week.

Next Wednesday, judges will pick two winners from the current competitors. Then four more weeks of competition. Two more winners. And four more weeks. And two more winners. (Six winners total).

On November 28th, the six (6) finalists will go head-to-head for the grand prize trip to Vegas. One performance. One winner.

CALEB'S POSSE - 10-year-old Caleb Pijaszek is a fifth grade student at Bangor Central. Teachers and administrators were on hand Wednesday night at Stables to cheer him on. The new arrivals to the competition joined singers Karen Powell, Caleb Pijaszek, Josh Rex, Kendra Woody and Matt Gregory in their quest for a trip to Vegas.

"This was a great night tonight and a great crowd at Stables," said manager John Buehl. "We had about 90 performers for the "IDOL" competition during the summer," Buehl reminded everyone. "It's going to get better every week now."

At intermission, Stables' customers were treated to un-scheduled performances by Steve Armstrong and Carl Neview. Both were competitors in the Stables' "IDOL" competition during the summer. Armstrong was the eventual winner. Click Here to see excerpts from Armstrong's performance last Wednesday.
