John Howley, Amy Thomas, Karen Powell and Jessica Rex were named finalists after the first four weeks of competition at the Stables' Michigan's Got Talent competition.

Judges deliberated for a lengthy time to select winners from a list of 10 who had competed over the past 4 weeks. "This was a very very difficult choice," said judge Dick Bork. Bork went on to say that the judges had mixed feelings concerning some of the competitors.

The best thing I can say, said Bork is "That the acts that didn't make it this 4-week cycle have a chance to come back for the next four weeks and try again."

Bork said the voting was extremely close.

There will be another four week run-off beginning Wednesday October 3 and then another four week competition beginning October 31. Finalists will be selected after each 4-week cycle.

On November 28th, the three groups of finalists will battle head-to-head for a chance at a free trip to Las Vegas.

Anyone interested in competing should contact the Stables at (989) 891-0100.
