The world as we know it hung in the balance in this epic clash of good versus evil. The Super Seniors would ally themselves with the Fantastic Freshman to battle the forces of evil, the Sophomore/Junior Villains, to keep the world safe for us peace-loving civilians.

This game marks the beginning of Homecoming week for All Saints. As the Cougars prepare to clash with Brown City on Friday, All Saints classes will be competing for the coveted spirit jug which will be awarded at the upcoming game.

The Pep Rally, complete with skits and cheers will start the day on Friday, followed by the Homecoming Parade at 5:45 p.m., the game at 7 p.m. includes the crowning of our King and Queen, and finally concludes with the dance on Saturday evening.

As the fight began, the game was quickly focused on defense. Both sides fought relentlessly, but the steeled defense of each team proved too much for either side.

Starting off the night on offense, the Villains, comprised of both Sophomores and Juniors, sought to strike an early blow to the Super Heroes and passed the ball deep down the field. But the speed and agility of the Superheroes was put to good use and an interception shut down the forces of destruction.

The two teams would struggle on offense for the rest of the first half, never able to break through the opposing line of hyped defenders. As the two teams regrouped during halftime they prepared to come back out on offense and utterly destroy their opponents to claim, not only victory, but bragging rights.

The engagement resumed with both teams seeking to find a weakness in their foes defense. No such holes were found until late in the forth quarter. Breaking through the shield of super power that filled the field, Ashley Bowker (#43) of the Villains delivered the first blow to the forces of justice. With only four minutes left in the game, victory for the Seniors/Freshmen, seemed to be fading into the haze. In the end, the Super Seniors, and Fantastic Freshmen failed to defeat the forces of evil, and the Villains triumphed 6-0.

One of the key Villains was Julie Spyhalski (#26), she would spike her hair up in an intimidating Mohawk for the game. When asked about the game she exclaimed: "It was so sweet, I had so much fun." A let down Kevin Klapish; (#23) of the All Saints Cougars, Coach of the Super Heroes, would only comment that "our team didn't play like we did in practice."

But not all was lost. In the wake of the devastation done to our world Ricky Phillips (#32) of the All Saints Cougars was crowned Homecoming King, with Alexandra Marvin as our royal Queen. Queen Allie was surprised as her name was called out and was quickly mobbed by her friends. She later said, "I never thought it was possible, I am so excited!"
