'Celtic Woman' at the Dow Event Center

The international Irish music sensation, CELTIC WOMAN, will play in Saginaw for One Performance Only on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 7:30pm at The Dow Event Center Theater.
A smash hit around the globe, the 19-member group featuring four gorgeous sopranos and one breathtaking fiddle player is capturing the hearts of fans across the country on a whirlwind tour of America.
This fifth U.S. tour since their 2005 debut is a culmination of a period of intense activity for the group that began back in October 2006 with the release of A Christmas Celebration (Manhattan Records).
Since then they've been seen by millions on their second PBS special, the blockbuster "CELTIC WOMAN-- A NEW JOURNEY," filmed live from Slane Castle in Ireland. On January 20 they released A New Journey on CD and A New Journey, Live at Slane Castle, Ireland on DVD (Manhattan).
CELTIC WOMAN also performed on Brian Boitano's New Year's Day NBC skating special and recently celebrated the platinum certification of their self-titled debut album.
Now, CELTIC WOMAN is coming to The Dow Event Center to perform their unique renditions of Irish standards, classical favorites and contemporary hits!
This tour will include selections from their first album as well as material from A New Journey. It promises to be live concert event that you'll never forget!
