(Bay City, MI) No one is more geeked for the Finals of the Michigan's Got Talent Competition than Stables' owner Art Dore.Stables 8:00pm - BE THERE! - AND DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!!!!!!!!!
Dore's Stables nightclub was jammed to the rafters on Friday night. The band was hot. The crowd was rockin'. But . . . Dore only had one thing on his mind.
"Nice crowd," one of the weekend party-goers said, all smiles.
"Who's gonna win on Wednesday?" Dore answered him back, puffing on his weekend cigar.
Dore just kept asking everyone, anyone and everyone. "What do ya think? Who's your pick in the Finals?
That same question is on the minds of just about everyone who has a stake in the outcome.
The judges (Dick Bork, Kathy Lagalo and Tommy Anderson) have fifteen finalists set to go on Wednesday. One performance by each. Then, pick the winner.
On Friday night, Art Dore was talking to MyBayCity representatives about letting the fifteen sing once and then pick the top five and have those five perform again.
"Might take a bit of pressure off the judges," everyone agreed. "We'll have to talk about it next week and try to come up with something that works for everybody," Dore said. "There's just so many good performers."

Micah Read, Bridgette Ballor, Gwen Kolbiaz, Sarah Jane, Branded Heart, Gina DeShano and Lauren Thomas were selected on the final night of competition. They join Kate Gembrowski, John Howley, Keagan Cerny, Karen Powell, Amy Thomas, Jessica Rex, Janie Thomas and Kathy James in the last night of competition on Wednesday December 5th. The competition began twelve weeks ago with finalists being selected every four weeks.
Now, only one week and one performance remains.
Winner goes to Vegas. Everyone else goes home.
