Bay City Central girls fell to 1-4 with a 50-36 loss to non-conference foe Grand Blanc Tuesday night.

Turnovers proved to be the difference in the game as the Wolves committed 28 including 11 in the third quarter enabling the South of Flint Bobcats to go on a 16-2 run to start the second half.

The Wolves who were down just six at halftime, started the fourth quarter down 40-18.

As the Bobcat girls were tiring from three quarters of applying an intense full court press, dropped into their half court game for the fourth, the Wolves came alive holding the visiting Cats to no field goals in the fourth while scoring 16 points in the first 3:27 of the final stanza.

The damage had already been done with the addition of 10 points on 16 free throw attempts, the Bobcats snuck out of Centrals gym with their 50-36 win.

The Wolves Girls who were led by Danette DeCorte's 13 points, will travel to League opponent Saginaw Arthur Hill Friday.
