Wood, Schroeder, Snover & King Advance After Stellar Freethrow Performances

Bay City Elks Lodge #88 held their "Hoop Shoot" Free Throw Contest on Saturday December 8, 2007, at the Essexville Garber High School Gym.

Pictured with the winners below is John Sauve. Sauve is the local director / organizer of the Bay City Elks Hoop Shoot. John is a member of the Bay City Lodge #88 of the BPOE.

The Winners are as follows:

In the Boys 8 & 9 Year old - Maxwell Wood, making 15 out of 25 shots.

In the Boys 10 & 11 Year old - Tyler Snover, making 14 out of 25 shots.

In the Boys 12 & 13 Year old - Tyler Schroeder, making 22 out of 25 shots.

In the Girls 8 & 9 Year old - There were no contestants.

In the Girls 10 & 11 Year old - Chloe King making 20 out of 25 shots.

In the Girls 12 & 13 Year old - There were no contestants.

The Winners listed above will be participating in the District Hoop Shoot in Tawas on January 5, 2008. The District Winners will proceed to the State Finals in Midland on January 26, 2008.
