Garber Rally Falls Short As Vassar wins 62-47

Dukes Hit Only 14 of 33 Free Throw Attempts

Garber spotted their Tri-Valley Conference East rival Vassar a 31-14 halftime lead and ran out of time trying to catch up eventually losing 62-47.

The Dukes Doubled their first half offense output and outscored Vassar 33-31 in the second half, but the damage had already been done.

The Dukes (2-3, 2-1) hit only 14 of 33 free throw attempts which added to their early deficit.

The Vulcans (2-2, 1-2) who used a balanced scoring attack were lead by Kyle Hecht with 14 and Jordan Knudsen tossed in 13.

The Dukes top scorer with 16 was Brett Eichhorn.

The Dukes will host Bridgeport Friday 12/21 before taking their holiday break until January 4, when they travel to Frankenmuth.
