Champions in Four Divisions Take Home Trophies and Earn Scholarship Money

The Tri City Youth Classic Travel League Mid-Season Bowling Tournament was held recently at Candlelight.
Competition was held in four divisions: Junior Gold Div A, Junior Gold Div B, Handicap A, and Handicap B.

In Division Junior Gold "A", Chad Skinner was the top qualifier with a six-game total of 1391 for a 231 average. Brian McMahon was next with 1380, and Trevor Block had 1372 in six games.
In the step-ladder competition, Brian McMahon defeated Chad Skinner in the Finals 233-166.
For his effort McMahon received $165 in scholarship money while Chad Skinner ($140), Trevor Block ($110, McKinley Woods ($85) and Aly Williams ($55) were also scholarship winners.

In Division Junior Gold "B", Cole Garstecki was the top qualifier with 1552 pins in six games for a 258 per game average. Drew Bauer was next with 1382 pins and John Kendall was third with 1374.
In the step-ladder Finals of Junior "B", Cole Garstecki defeated Drew Bauer 266-247 to claim the top scholarship prize. Garstecki earned $165 in scholarship money. Drew Bauer ($140), Andrew Humpert ($110), John Kendall ($85) and Brittany Potts ($55) also claimed scholarship money.

In Division Handicap "A", Alex Austin was the top qualifier with 972 pins in four games for a 243 per game average. Hayden Block was next with 878 pins and Ashley Kerr was third with 856.
In the step-ladder Finals of Junior Handicap "A", Alex Austin defeated Tiffany Brown 239-216 to claim the top scholarship prize. Austin earned $115 in scholarship money. Tiffany Brown ($90), Justin Maher ($60), and Michael Wenglikowski ($30) also claimed scholarship money.

In Division Handicap "B", Rachel Lambert was the top qualifier with 1040 pins in four games for a 260 per game average with handicap. Ben Skidmore was next with 977 pins with handicap and Kayla Leonard was third with 927 including handicap.
In the step-ladder Finals of Junior Handicap "B", Tyler Zwingman defeated Samantha Kubiak 292-217 to claim the top scholarship prize. Zwingman earned $115 in scholarship money. Samantha Kubiak ($90), Raeanna Bartkowiak ($60), and Rachel Lambert ($30) also claimed scholarship money.
