After League leader Birch Run (7-2, 6-1) found themselves tied at the end of one with a scrappy Garber squad on their home court they decided to pass, box out and rebound their way to a comfortable 33-24 half time lead.
It started out as shoot out as the Dukes matched their Tri Valley East Conference foe to an offensive duel as the game was knotted at 17 after the first buzzer.
The Dukes managed just 7 points in the second stanza then was outscored 28-15 in the third as the league leaders took a 61-39 lead into the final quarter.
The Panthers Justin Duby put on an offensive clinic as he scored 13 of his game high 30 points in the decisive third quarter.
Duby was helped with 18 points from Dakotah Ellis.
Brett Eichhorn led the Dukes (3-7, 3-4) with 14 while Jake Hebert and Sean Duchaine each had 10.
The Dukes are on the road against conference foes Caro and USA next.
