Garber girls are getting real familiar with John Glenn on the hard court. And they still have their number.

The Bobcats (9-4) have not beaten their cross-town, cross conference North East Michigan Conference foes since 2002.

After an ugly 33-30 scrappy game early in the season the Dukettes nearly scored that many by halftime (29) this time around.

Garber (9-5) overall never looked back from the opening tip as they led the whole game in route to their 57-38 win.

"This was the most complete basketball game we have ever played through four quarters, it was a great team win for us," said Garber coach Gary Huiskens.

And just as they have done all season the girl Dukes had more than seven girls score and three with double digits.

Sam Lane led the Dukes with 15, while always intense point guard Kelsea Zimmerman knocked in 14 and Halley Lane had 10.

Lauren Bluhm (our December player of the month) again led the Bobcats with 13 while Kylene Frank and Breanne Krager each chipped in seven.

The Bobcats (5-2 in conference)are back into conference play Tuesday night when they host league leading Tawas(6-1) while the Dukes have almost a week off before hosting Millington on Friday.
