Jimmy Buffet fans, come on down! . . . The best in Jimmy Buffet music!

The advertising brochure from Bay Arts did not lie.

If you were not a Jimmy Buffet fan before Tuesday night's Bay Arts Council Concert in the Park, by thetime the concert ended, most likely you were a confirmed and converted 'parrothead.'

The Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band recreated the Buffet sound with classic renditions of Key West favorites that included: Changes in Latitude, Margaritaville, Come Monday and the most requested Cheeseburger in Paradise.

"It was a wonderful family event," beamed Bay Arts Council Director Diane Middleton. "Kids and their families. That's exactly what we like to see at the Friendship Shell for these concerts."

'Jimmy Buffet' brought kids up on the stage and invited concert-goers to dance as the group performed song after hit song from the recording hit list of the legendary Key West entertainer.

Another great night at the Bay City Wenona Park Friendship Shell.
