Wednesday night (Week 12) at Stables will be "win or go home" for the 10-12 performers who are still looking for a chance at the April 2ND Finals and a chance of winning a free trip to Las Vegas.
Competition starts at 8:00pm and when the dust settles around 11:00pm, there should be 4 or 5 more Finalists with Gold Tickets to the April 2nd performance.
During the past eleven weeks, eleven have already been selected. They are: Jessica Rex, Bridgette Ballor, Lauren Thomas, Faceless Mob, Chris Claude, Sarah Schingeck, Joe DiPiero, Rudy Skillman, Joe Atchinson, Geno Cummings and Tarah Bailer.
On-line voting would suggest that the following four have the inside track for the final spots in the finals.
23.24% -- Jeremy Brand
19.12% -- Deanna Cooper
17.65% -- Emily Thomas
15.88% -- Chuck Kirkbride
Others in the hunt for the final spots are Debbie Kirkbride, Greg McGuire, Rachelle Sharrow, and the newest group entry, "Best Friends" (Casey, Janie and Katie).
"The next two weeks will be a wild ride around here on Wednesdays," said Stables' Manager John Buehl.
And Buehl should be getting used to the Wednesday night pace at Stables. Just last week, Stables and Pig Gig announced that they will hold an "idol-like" competition (beginning April 16th) that will end with the FINAL FOUR singers performing on-stage Friday night of Pig-Gig Weekend.
Last year, that same summer-long competition was won by Stave Armstrong. Other finalists who performed at Pig Gig were Jenna Moeggenborg, Kate Gembrowski, Kalei Souza and John Cudworth.
