Mid Michigan's Got Talent Competition is in full swing every Wednesday night at the Stable's Martini and Cigar bar beginning at 8:00PM.
At Stables, on Bay City's West Side, patrons can enjoy a martini while watching the competition. And the fun doesn't stop when the competition ends. After the competition, there is always open Karaoke under the music direction of Doug Dore.
Competitors are battling it out hard to win the trip to Las Vegas AND a spot to perform in concert at the Labadie Pig Gig this Summer at Veterans Park in Bay City!
Stables Manager John Buehl explained that there will be three (3) 4-week segments of competition. At the end of each 4-week competition, five semi-finalists will be selected.
The current 4-week segment is underway with first-time performers Tanya Branch, Drew Brady and Kevin Sackit making a hit with judges in the early rounds.
Youngsters Caleb and Bridgette Ballor both turned in great performances last Wednesday and had the judges flashing the "thumbs up" to both.
Finalists from previous competitions, Geno Cummings, Joe Atchinson and Jessica Rex, all gave good performances. The always popular Chuck Kirkbride and Jeremy Brand filled out the field of competitors last Wednesday.
First segment finalists will be chosen on Wednesday May 7th.
Beginning July 9th, all 15 finalists will compete (Idol Style) in a 4-week competition. One week the finalists will sing Country songs, then Motown the next week , then Rock, etc.
On July 30, the judges will choose 4 finalists that will perform Friday (August 1) on the big stage at the Labadie Pig Gig. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen that night and will perform solo on Sunday, August 3rd. The winner will also receive an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas.

Judges for the competition will be Dick Bork, Tommy Anderson and Kathy Lagalo. Competition begins every Wednesday at 8:00pm.
