This year the Mid-Michigan Regional Business Expo, put on by the Bay Area, Saginaw and Midland Chamber's of Commerce was a tremendous success for all businesses who invested their time and money into the event!

Hundreds of exhibitors showcased their products and services, demonstrating them "LIVE" which proved to be a cost effective marketing tool for their business.

Trade shows are a leading source for purchasing information. They give businesses an opportunity to meet with current and prospective customers face to face and potentially "close the deal" right there on the spot!

This particular expo proved to be, by far, one of the premier networking opportunities in the Tri-City area.

This year, facilitators of the event decided to allow exhibitors to network with fellow exhibitors, which gave them exclusive time to do just that!

"Explore The Expo" contest, sponsored by Fabiano Brothers was just one of the events of the day! Visitor's received a contest card upon entering the expo for their chance to win $500!

There were many wondrous events such as the Premier Luncheon, sponsored by Covenant Healthcare featuring guest speaker LTG Russel L. Honoré, of the US Army (Ret.). LTG Russel L. Honoré was widely hailed by the media as the 'Category 5 General' who saved the fabled city of New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Numerous small business seminars, sponsored by area businesses were enjoyed such as learning non-verbal communications to enhance your customer service skills taught by Tracy Weber Ph.D. and her four-legged friends, horses! Technology was also featured in the Voice Over Internet Protocol arena, showcased by I.T.I Inc.

Downtown Bay City is one of many "Great American Main Streets". It has the characteristics of a big city and the personality of a small town community ... A riverfront community made up of the things to do and see that will fill a day ... or a lifetime.

Bay City, nestled in the Saginaw Valley, is a city loaded with history related to Native Americans, lumbering, ship building, archeology, agriculture and commerce. The city's vibrant Downtown is highlighted with historical architecture dating from 1830 to 1940, creating a unique, one-of-a-kind shopping and residential district.

The Saginaw River travels directly through the center of the Bay City's Downtown, helping create a beautiful waterside community with riverside parks and walkways. During warmer months you can frequently see large great lake freighters and numerous pleasure boats traveling on the river.

Downtown Bay City truly is ......A Cool City!
