It's that time of year.

Boaters are "getting the itch" to get their boat in the water.

West Marine and Wheeler Landing are just a few of so many local businesses that are Geared Up for the Summer Season.

As of May 1st, Wheeler Landing, located on Marquette Street in Bay City, officially opened for boaters.

  • 5% of all sales for the day will be donated to SBCSA.
  • EVERYTHING IS ON SALE!

(L/R) Dave Bernreuter, Inventory, and Terry Monville Manager of ten years, at West Marine Wilder Road, Bay City, show the line of electronics.

"I was the second boat in the water at Wheeler Landing on April 15th," Bernreuter said. "Joe Hensley was in a week before me." Slots have been filling up over the past four weeks.

"The section of Wheeler Landing that I have my boat slot in is called Clampetville," Bernreuter continued. "I call it Clampet Estates." According to Bernreuter, this will be home for the next seven months.

The crew at Wheeler Landing have been getting things in shape for the last few months. The pool was uncovered April 29th and is now heating up and will open Memorial Day Weekend!

    See you on the Water!
