Coach Jennifer Sugden had trouble fielding a full team for their 6:30 p.m. game on Tuesday night at Vet's Park Field "F" against Carbone.
But by game-time, she had a full contingent of 10 players and her team was firing on all cylinders.
Tri City RV scored seven runs in the 1st inning and had ten runs after three innings on their way to a 26-9 rout of Carbone of America.
Shortstop Jordan Long lined a two-run homer over the fence at the 305' marker to get the scoring started for Tri City RV. Long laughed about the homer, commenting that it may have been "jet-stream aided" since the wind was blowing gale force straight out to left early in the game.
"I hit it pretty good," Long said. "But maybe the wind helped it just a bit," he smiled.
INTO THE JET STREAM - Tri City RV's Jordan Long launched a 305' plus home run over the fence at Vets Field "F" Tuesday night. "The wind might have helped a little," Long laughed.

Dennis Klosowski added an inside-the-park three run homer for Tri City RV later in the inning as the league leaders jumped off to a 7-0 lead.
Carbone hung in there for the first three innings but hen just couldn't keep pace with the high scoring Tri City RV squad.
Carbone's first baseman Josh Denomme had an inside-the-park home and Keith Jammer had an RBI triple as Carbone scrapped to stay in the game. But Tri City RV just had too many horses.
Tri City RV posted 16 runs in the 4th inning to put the game away.
Right fielder, Ron Pudvan had 4 hits for to pace the winners including a triple and a pair of two-base hits. Jeremy Lowell, Jon Korpal, Josh Jaynes and Dennis Klosowski all had three hits each for the undefeated Tri City RV squad.
BIG PLAY AT HOME - Tri City RV's Steve Kurchak puts the tag on a Carbone of America runner to kill a rally in late inning play. Tri City RV scored 16 runs in the 4th inning and posted a 26-9 final score.
