Caretel has created a home-like atmosphere by building separate Inns. Each Inn is small, has its own cozy dining room, a quiet enclosed courtyard, a gazebo, separate entrance and staff. This is a lot like condominiums, in which the living spaces are separate and private, but connected to allow for the benefit of some common services.

Caretel Inns of Tri-Cities has three separate Inns. Each named after a famous painter. Leighton House Inn is for guests desiring Assisted Living. Turner House Inn is for Medicare Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care, and Monet House Inn is for those with memory loss.

Caretel specializes in rehabilitation. It is the main focus of the Turner House Inn.

Caretel is proud of the fact that they return most of their guests at Turner House to their homes. This is why the specialized therapy program at Caretel is called, "Send 'Em Home" Therapy?.

Medicare is very helpful in paying a good portion of the cost. The Caretel staff will help you navigate through Medicare and other health insurances to make sure you receive the maximum benefits.

The secret to excellent physical therapy is a well-equipped therapy room and a determined, highly-trained physical therapy staff. Caretel realized that one more element was necessary: motivation.

When you have had a stroke, a hip replacement or a car accident, it tends to get you down at least a little. Caretel decided to create a physical therapy room that would be inspirational. It is easy to get motivated in the beautiful surroundings of the Henri Matisse Gallery.

The many windows overlook the landscaped court. Lights illuminate Matisse's brilliantly-colored paintings. This is clearly no ordinary physical therapy room. Along with the best equipment and professional staff, you need to inspire and motivate a person to recover.

The famous French artist, Henri Matisse, was chosen to help create a room that would inspire and motivate because his lively, brilliantly colored paintings have inspired people for years. Caretel believes that having a modern, well equipped physical therapy room in an art gallery setting is just what the doctor ordered.

After people have had a stroke, hip replacement or a car accident, etc., they often need to learn alternative ways of performing regular household activities. A vital part of Caretel's "Send 'Em Home" Therapy program is teaching guests how to get along at home with slightly altered abilities.

The Cottage is also designed to motivate and inspire. It is has the appearance of a fairy tale cottage. But don't let its attractiveness fool you. It has all the furniture and fixtures of a real house. Caretel's trained, professional Occupational Therapist know just how to use this home-like setting to train guests to cook, wash clothes, and make their own bed so they can function at home successfully.
