Peterson was just as good at the plate even though the Meijers pitchers favored walking him he still finished the game with two hits and three RBI's including a double in the final stanza when Omni batted through the order on their way to scoring seven runs.

Blowing bubbles sometimes keeps your mind off the score of the game as displayed by Nate Christie after taking over pitching duties.

It was truly a team effort on offense from Omni as Tyler Robbins, Arik Bickham, and Nathan Joles each had two hits apiece.

Justin Mlujeak benefited from his spot in the order as he started and finished the scoring for Omni and finished with three RBI's.

Nathan Joles was called out on this play at home but it didn't matter as his OmniSource team went on to post a 16-2 win.

Meijers who battled their way into the Championship through the losers bracket after an opening tournament loss to NELL's Mama Lupo's whom they avenged and eliminated in their third game after disposing of SELL's St. Stans.

On Sunday afternoon they sent SWLL's United Steel Workers 5187 to the sidelines to earn their spot in the title game.

Spencer Reames with some aggressive base running put Meijers on the board when he stole third and forced a throwing error then Ethan Lesperance scored when Justin Guinn ripped one over the head of the right fielder but that was the only offense they produced as Peterson was strong on the mound for OmniSource.

In the Division 1 final SWLL's Jacob Alarie of Auto Tec pounded a grand slam over the center field fence in the second inning as his team went on to post a 12-1 victory over NWLL's Anderson Pharmacy to claim the Champions Championship.

Alarie added two doubles in his seven RBI performance as 10-year old Tyler Weichec was nearly flawless on the mound for Auto Tec allowing just three hits in the pressure cooker game.

SWLL has claimed two Championships in a row as Mr. Hotdog won it all last year.

Nathan Joles of OmniSource shows his battle-paint three for three to become champions as they did winning 16-2 to claim the division 2 Title.
