Fortunately for those teams who didn't or haven't clinched their respective league titles yet, inner league play offers one more crack at those teams they faced all season.

Each league plays a round robin double elimination tournament after their regular season.

Marty Ulry of KC Welding gives the pitcher a sneer after getting a strike called on him, he eventually doubled in this at bat.

This year in the modified leagues there will be the chance for all levels "A," "B," and "C," to test their metal in a five to seven game after league play for $75.00 per team. If your team is interested in playing just call Brad Ayala league President or stop in the Community Center and pick up the info.

Back to last weeks action where Northern League Champions RPM Auto met Shoes Corner Store in their inner league tourney.

Jeff Bradley pitched for RPM and gave up a monstrous 325ft homerun to Jim Deaton as Shoes avenged their regular season loss's to RPM by winning 8-6 to move on in the winners bracket.

Due to the fireworks events at Vet's, the Northern League won't resume tournament play until July 10th.

Dave Heinskill and Marty Ulry show their disgust in the fact that Ulry got caught off second for a double play after Heinskill hit a shot to shortstop.

Don't call it a come back, KC Welding had Brunettes Body shop down 14-5 when they rattled off seven runs before making their last out of the game and lost 14-12 during inner league tourney play.

Brunettes will drop into the losers bracket and will play Tuesday at 6:30PM with the winner playing KC for the tourney Championship immediately following that game.

Rick Webb of KC Welding shows he's still got a good bat as he strokes one to left.

There are many teams in all leagues who were or will be playing state tournament qualifiers and we at MyBayCity wish them well and invite all those teams who qualify to contact me at 714-4068 to report their results and where they will be playing.

KC Welding moved up to modified "B" this year and although they didn't win their league title they are making noise in the tournament.
