There will be no runaway league clinchers in womans softball down at Vet's anytime soon.

Competition is getting tight as upsets were the norm during action the last couple weeks.

In a hotly contested tight one between TK Excavating and Buffalo Wild Wings after the umpire checked the scores in the seventh inning and found one team had 7-6 in their book while the other had 7-7, they settled on 7-7 and began the seventh inning.

Kristine Curler takes a mean cut as she drove home the winning run for TK.

Jill Hollingsworth was on the mound for BW3's when Kristine Curler who was everywhere took a mean cut at one and it turned into a suicide squeeze because it just dribbled back to the pitcher as Ashley Hoffman was coming home from third and just beat the throw to go ahead 8-7 and register the first win for TK.

Buffalo Wild Wings dropped to 4-8 with the loss.

In other action Rau Cleaning and Auto Care showed why they are considered the Hollywood crew while we heard remarks from their dugout that Lighthouse Lounge players look like a bunch of cheap strippers. The trash talking continues as Rau won another one to go to 8-4.

My Bar still leads the "A" League with a 12-2 record while Hooters is close on their tail at 10-4.

River Rock (11-3) is two games up on (9-5) Team One Credit Union in the "B" League and Bay Valley Christian Church (10-1) is one game up on Riversbend (10-3) in the "C" League.

TK Excavating enjoyed their first win of the season with an 8-7 win over Buffalo Wild Wings.
