State Theatre To Unveil New Digital Marquee!

Kevin Cole will be on hand September 11 for fundraising event.
The State Theatre is preparing to host it's annual Taste & Theatrics fundraiser and launching an "Adopt A Bulb" campaign for their new digital marquee!
The evening of Thursday, September 11th will be filled with magic as The State Theatre celebrates their 6th annual Taste & Theatrics fundraiser by unveiling the historic State Theatre's newly renovated digital marquee.
There will be tents showcasing the local food vendors' array of delicious samplings for the anticipated 500 + guests.
Entertainment for this special evening will be a "taste" of Patrick Yandall, Kevin Cole and Central High School's Steel Drum Band, The Bay City Steelers. These talents will grace the State's stage and provide a rhythmic ambiance outside of the theatre, not to mention, aid in their big reveal of the new marquee!
Guests will then be delighted with samplings of amazing desserts and special blended coffees & teas.
This year we will be taking over the whole 900 block of Washington Ave. between 4th & 5th streets. The event is scheduled from 6-10p.m.
Beyond the food and performers, they will also be running a silent art and ceramics auction. Local artists donate their items to be auctioned to help promote their work, but also support the theatre.
