Tri-City Art Battle at Magic Bean Café Festival A Thunderous Event!

The invitation said "Come rain or shine", and that they did! Saturday night during the thunder, lightening and power outages, hundreds poured into the Magic Bean Café located at 5789 State Street in Saginaw for the first annual Tri-City Art Battle Festival.
This wondrous event showcased area artistic talent. Artists had a three hour time slot to complete a piece of art from start to finish. The public was then able to vote in the winners for some glorious prizes from many area sponsors.
Live music could be heard both inside and out featuring Dan from Jedi, John Vasquez and the Bearinger Boyz, Traeder and Loose Change. Children enjoyed art and craft lessons hosted by the Saginaw Art Museum and Cork & Ale was on hand to offer their specialty beer and wine tasting! The Saginaw Spirit was on-site to kick off their 2008-09 season!
Depending upon what you were "in the mood" for, the Tri-City Art Battle Festival had it there! Be sure to come out next year to view the exhibits, enjoy some summertime grilling and have a great time!
