The band 'ROCKSTAR' - Detroit's Premier 80's Tribute Hair Band rocked out the Prime Event Center on Friday, November 21, 2008.

It was a night full of excitement and high energy entertainment. Hundreds of 80's hair band fans gathered as the tribute band transformed us back to our youth with all the Hair Metal Hits of the 80's from bands including, Poison, Ratt, Bon Jovi, Guns & Roses, Journey, Quiet Riot, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Van Halen and the Scorpions, just to name a few.

The Prime Event Center shines for concerts with an incredible light show, unparalleled sound system, and huge stage. The enthusiastic crowd were up and dancing throughout and some even dressed the part with makeup and hairdos we so fondly remembered from our high school days.

Prime Event Center's Stephen Coppler said, "What tremendous crowds for our first few events and the overall response has been "WOW" as many people have never been in the Prime in years, and the entertainment has exceeded our expectations."

Coppler continued, "It is only the beginning, with more events being booked weekly to expand on these first few events. If you haven't been to the Prime, come see a show for yourself as the prices are very affordable and the entertainment gives you more than your money's worth!"
