This is the motto of BRONNER'S CHRISTmas Wonderland and founder, Wally Bronner. Once you turn into the parking lot and enter into the Alpine-designed building, you can't help but feel filled with joy and wonderment.

Whether it is a 90 degree summer day or a snow blown December evening, you instantly become immersed into the sights, sounds and memories that makes Christmas time so magical.

While over two million people visit Bronner's annually, many make it a part of their holiday tradition as my family does. As we headed toward Frankenmuth, we were greeted with large fluffy snowflakes dancing as they gently fell to the ground.

A magical sight for sure.

Upon entering the store, Santa had arrived. The children's eyes were filled with glee as many clung to their parent's necks to catch a glimpse of the Jolly elf.

So many ornaments to choose from.

It all has to be seen from every angle.

As we moved deeper into the store, I couldn't help but look up at all the moving figures. There was Santa and his elves, working away in his workshop. I saw bears and other woodland creatures playing on teeter-totters. A special favorite of mine this year was penguins, all on various ice flows watching the movie Happy Feet. I couldn't help but remember my childhood when we thrilled at walking the downtown streets just to watch the figures in the windows.

The smiles on children's faces are wonderful to see.

Walking further into the store, there were various wintry scenes depicting Americana from years past. You could almost smell the warming fires at the skate pond and taste the hot chocolate waiting in the houses.

I know my name is on one of these ornaments.

Especially unique were the displays of times when Christ lived. There were many of the traditional manger scenes. What was especially inspiring were the various scenes depicting Christ times, from birth through his resurrection and in between.

Heading toward the western entrance, we came onto the Christmas tree trimmings and unique ornaments. One could literally take hours examining the special decorations from traditional brightly painted balls to figures of people or animals.

Finally, we strolled through the forest of artificial trees. I had to actually touch many of them to make sure they were artificial.

But you have to love those penguins.

Bronners is more than a Christmas store. It is a place to enjoy all the happy emotions and wonders that make CHRISTmas, because it is HIS birthday. And when you share it with a loved one or you family, it is a day to enjoy Life, because it is HIS way.
