Sweat It Out!
EXERCISE VS. WORKING OUT
For many, a New Year's Resolution is set to exercise more.
Oddly enough, I found the same dictionary definition for both 'exercise' and 'workout' which was:
-the activity of exerting your muscles in various ways to keep fit-
In my mind, Exercise is way different than 'Working Out'
When I think of exercise . . . I think of bike riding, walking, lawn maintenance and etc.
When I think of a work out . . . I'm thinking of weight lifting.. running, yoga, kick boxing and etc.
BOTTOM LINE:
If you're not sweating - then it's NOT a work out!
Anyway, thats NOT my New Year's Resolution . . .
A good point the priest at my church made . . . was to focus not on something about yourself, but maybe the needs of other people.
Great Suggestion!!!
Helping people in need, make someone's day by making them smile, a simple gesture or favor, running an errand, or spending more time with family... etc.
Personally, I would like to make people laugh more . . .(I just envy people that are witty).
I've been working on my sense of humor lately . . . but by the expressions on friends and family's faces . . . I don't think it's working. . . yet . . . but I'm gonna try to get better at it . . .
DON'T LAUGH!!! I mean . . . Yes . . . Laugh . . . or at least Smile.
:)
