It can be tough playing against a winless foe, especially a non-league contest. This is especially true with this Bridgeport team that has played well despite the winless record. If you take them lightly, they will bite you.

Both teams came out in a half court offense and work them well. Bridgeport was holding their own until Central decided to shake things up a bit and went to a near the end of the first quarter. This helped them gain a one point advantage at the end of the quarter, 11-10.

Going to the press turned not only the pressure on but the Wolves offense. Turnovers and open shots powered the Central team as they fed off their success. Smothering the Bearcats, they ran off a 20-4 quarter to take a 31-14 half time lead.

Bridgeport settle themselves at the half and came out strong. But Central kept their aggressive play going behind Danette DeCorte's 28 game points and pulled even further ahead, 44-23.

The fourth quarter saw Bridgeport battle back some. Showing no quit, the Lady Bearcats where able to outscore Central but only by three as the Wolves came away with a 55-37 victory.

23 (put players name here) DeCorte led all scorers with 28 points to power Central. Bridgeport was lead by Cynthia Moore who knocked down 10 points with Quintoya White adding 8.
