The Bay Area Runners Club recently announced details concerning the upcoming annual Al Kayner's St. Patrick's Day Races.
This year's event will be the 36th annual and has become a staple of Midwest runners and is a perfect way to celebrate the return of another beautiful Midwest Spring.The Races begin and finish at the corner of
Center Avenue and Adams Street in downtown Bay City.

Timing for the race is monitored by Gault Race Management. This is a chip scored race using Chrono Track timing. Up until a few years ago this allows your timing to start once your foot crosses the start line, opposed to the shot gun start, which makes it more accurate with a line up of runners/walkers that is usually a block wide long. Results can also be checked at www.gaultracemanagement.com or www.runmichigan.com
Awards are given away to 1st overall, 1st masters, male & female,
plus 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in each age group. And metals to all finishers.
