Players gear up for the Peak Performance Michigan State Winter Baseball Camp!

Peak Performance recently held their Winter Baseball Camp, featuring the entire Michigan State University Baseball coaching staff!

Present for the event were Michigan State University Baseball Head Coach, Jake Boss, Assistant Coach Billy Gernon and Jake Boss Sr.

Michigan State University Head Coach, Jake Boss stated, "It's a great time of year to get these boys out here before the season starts. This is a wonderful facility for this."

"This is a fabulous opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball directly from the coaching staff at a high level, guys who played professional and coach collegiate. These kids get the opportunity to learn new drills and different aspects of the game for improvement," said Peak Performance Owner, Mark Krzysiak.

Michigan State University Baseball begins it's season February 20th in Florida for the Big Time - Big East Challenge.

"We have a good returning core group of guys. It's great to see young guys on the mound, moving forward," said Boss.

Head Coach Jake Boss mentioned just a few of his fabulous returning players for the 2009 season. Catcher, Eric Roof from Kentucky is Captain and Leader and plays on-field defense and offense. Brandon Eckerle from Durand Michigan as an outstanding defensive center fielder and Nolan Moody, Sr. Captain and pitcher from East Lansing Michigan who Boss says has a good breaking ball and is the anchor of his pitching staff.

Peak Performance will hold a Spring 2009 Oakland University Training Baseball Camp on March 28th. Cost is $75.

Peak Performance offers rental of their (40X90) Turf Bay, multipurpose area to local schools/teams. The Bay is available for baseball, softball, soccer, LaCross and more! Peak Performance is now located at 1415 Center Avenue, open Monday thru Thursday from 4:00p.m. - 10:00p.m., Friday, 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00a.m. - 7:00p.m.
