Joe Louis Arena in Detroit sold out for Nickelback, Seether, Saving Abel Concert. (That's an attendance of approximately 21,000)

Where do I start . . .

How about:

3:00PM, Saturday, February 28, 2009.

Head to Detroit, Limo ride compliments of Complete Limousine Service.

(Thanks to Robert, here's picture and mention as promised.)

I cannot be in Detroit and NOT visit Hard Rock Café . . .
However . . I was a little disappointed when I went to order my usual entrée and it wasn't on the Menu!

WHAT!

Where are the "JOE PERRY QUESADILLAS?" Are you kidding me? Why would they take this off the menu ????? I still never got an answer to that one. (My sister will not like this news when I tell her!)

Okay well maybe if I go buy something at the Hard Rock Souvenir shop that will make me feel better . . . for now. (smile)

Off to the Joe . . .

Saving Abel (my favorite band OF the 3), was the opening act. . . I expected that Seether would have opened . . . In due time I predict Saving Abel will be a headlining band. Yes... as you can tell I am "Addicted" to Saving Abel.... no pun intended - or was it?

Seether . . . has now given me a new favorite song.

NICKEL BACK blew me away when they played their "hottest" song (right now) as their opening song. I don't know if I was even ready for it! But I give them credit . . . usually they keep the best song for last! (Listen to song) It was awesome!

Also in the song "photograph" . . . didn't you always wonder "what was on Joey's head." I finally got to see it and still didn't know what it was. (laff)

And ya gotta love those pyrotechnics.

Journalism must be in my blood . . . because I went to this concert with the thought - "A real concert, And I can enjoy it without having to do coverage . . . Yay."

I found myself taking mental notes of the night and felt like I needed a note pad and pen and then realized we never did get checked at the entrance and noticed alot of people with cameras.

And now -- this blog. (There is no escape . . . laff) . . . Work to Live - Live to Work? The weekend before I think I clocked 36 working hours Friday thru Sunday.

Happy 40th Birthday
to my friend Eileen Veit!

I will always think of you (and your jeans) when I hear Nickelback!

Did you go to the concert? What did you think? Leave a Comment Below! Smile

. . . LIVE FAST . . . ROCK HARD!
