It was Extreme Cage Combat Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Prime Event Center in Downtown Bay City.
Action featured the best extreme fighters from around the tri-cities battling it out in a Steel Cage, in action-packed Mixed Martial Arts following Full Contact MMA Rules.
It was rough - tough - wild - crazy and maybe even a little bloody.
Cage bouts consist of 3 rounds, (If it goes that far) and are judged based on not only striking, but also on grappling, submission attempts, reversals, escapes and defense.
MMA participants do not use any foreign objects. MMA works diligently to provide the safest atmosphere for competitors.
Submission moves are released immediately when any fighter verbally submits or by 'tapping out'.
One spectator commented, "It was such a great show even my girlfriend enjoyed the cage fights!!"
