Julie's gives 3 Stars to Extreme NOS PUMPED
before A work-out

This is a good drink the morning after you've stripped your body of Vitamin Bs
However, if it says 'no sugar' probably is not a good thing as they have now used substitute sugar which is even worst . Choose lesser of 2 evils. Its Maddening!

Are you a fan of Red Bull Energy Drink?

Are you drinking it for energy?

Due to a recent experience, I am no longer a fan of Red Bull "Energy" drink. Well, lets say I will certainly not drink it when I'm looking for an energy kick.

I may drink it if there is no other choice when out during the evening at local restaurants/grill & bar. Generally, I have a hard time choosing a beverage since I don't drink soda, I don't drink tap water, and I'm not drinking alcohol.

Whats left? Coffee?

Anyway, on one of these occasions, 'at night' I drank 2 (maybe 3) cans of Red Bull in a period of 3 hours . . . went to bed thinking I was gonna be wired and have a hard time going to sleep . . .

WRONG . . . I had no problem falling asleep, in fact I fell asleep within minutes.

What!

This did not make sense to me.

When I'm looking for a mid-day boost or if I want something before my work-out . . .

I have tried:

  • NOS - which I think is loaded up with sugar, and actually made me crash the next day.
  • Extreme Nos Pumped - that I purchased from New Body Health & Fitness, that seemed to work well if you want something before a work out.
  • My Monster Java still seem to help me out for a mid-day boost, in fact when I drink it fast enough, seems to give me this kick of adrenaline (so, people have told me) - those things make me CRAZY sometimes. (Like, how I'm craving one right now. Monster Java now cost $2.69 a single. But they are now out in four-packs in the grocery stores . . . you can save a couple cents that way, if you drink one a day . . . like I do. I've been known to drink up to 3 a day. Monster Java are Very ADDICTING ... I think I've hooked a few people on them, especially for people that like the coffee flavors.
  • Rockstars - I don't remember, I think I've only tried the coffee flavors and those have to much sugar, too sweet. My Brother in-law drinks a ton of these daily. I suppose you get immune to them.
  • XS Energy drink - I still think is a good Vitamin B replacement. :) Just tried the New Green Tea flavor.
  • No Fear Motherload - I was told that will do the trick... I have still yet to try that.

  • A 7-11 Cappuccino with added "FUSION" coffee is always a good pick-me-up in the morning.

  • I'm sure everyone's system is different.

Ever hear of breakfast of X-Champions... 'Beer over Wheaties'? . . . How 'bout Monster Java Over Nature's Path Organic Flax Granola Cereal -- I've been considering it -- maybe a snack while at the office. (laff)

    . . . Maybe, I should of just had a V8!

A friend of mine, makes her own V8 mix with vinegar and some other ingredients -- That's probably the route to go... But I need something available at most any store -- to just Grab and Go. . .

    Anyway . . . I'm tired . . . I'm going to sleep . . . Wish me luck.

    For Hate Mail . . . Submit Below . . . or suggestions :)

For Hate Mail.....what!......who would do that??

Just wanted to suggest a new favorite of mine, Black Mamba Venom.....I've provided a couple links below. I've tried most everything out there and it seems to have the mid-afternoon boost I seek.

Awesome for washing down a good slice of pie...laff

VENOM BALCK MAMBA: When you want to stay razor sharp, with the energy to strike first and leave your mark, you need the vicious Venom of a Black Mamba. The Venon Potency Pack has a powerful dose of taurine, glucuronolactione. L-carnitine and guaran, giving it piercing energy that strikes back.

smile.......although this has a 'clever promo' and cool packaging. You can tell its made from a "soda" company. It is Very Sweet. I dont think it gave me much of a boost before my work out. But it tastes surprisingly good!!!!!

This job does have it's advantages ... Drop me off a sample of your favorite energy drink, I'll give it my review.... smile...
    Agree? or Disagree?
