The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is launching a new program - Young Professional Network. YPN encourages young professionals to grow personally and professionally and to become more involved in the Bay Area business community.
Group lunches, Business After Hours and special events encourages young professionals to network, continue personal growth and professional development and give back to the community that they live and work in.
Who should get involved? Individuals 21-40 years of age are encouraged attending the Young Professionals Network of the Bay County events. Employers are also encouraged to support their young professionals, by learning about the program and possibly assisting with membership investment.
When will the Young Professionals Network meet? The chamber plans to have bi-monthly meetings luncheons, with the kick-of being scheduled in May 2009. Luncheons will be a great way to network with other young professionals and learn about topics of interest, socialize and take advantage of professional networking opportunities.
