This annual event, hosted by the Bay Area Family Y is a fabulous way to teach youngsters a healthier way of life!

The 2009 Healthy Kids Day event was held this past Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00 noon at the Bay Area Family Y. This FREE annual event got kids moving in a healthy manner with obstacle courses, Dance Dance Revolution gaming and taught them everything they need to know about living a healthy life.

There was also stations set up for making your own toothpaste and healthy snacks such as watermelon hearts and granola bags filled with goodies!

Youngsters had fun making and eating healthy snacks such as granola and toothpaste!

The Bay Area Family Y has worked with kids, families and adults for decades. The YMCA has focused attention on promoting and maintaining healthy habits at home and provides the information, tools and resources that genuinely assist in this goal!
