This rivalry runs deeper than Garber versus John Glenn. It is teammates through the years playing against each other as well. In the end, stellar play and a big inning in each game determined the outcome as Garber swept the doubleheader, 9-2 and 6-0.

In the first game, John Glenn struck first in the bottom of the third. Audrey Oleniacz stoked a single to center driving in Gakstattor and Haley Mullard giving the Bobcats a 2-0 lead. Garber responded with a run of their own in the fourth. After loading the bases on walks, a run scored on an error when Kara Brewer grounded to second trimming John Glenn's lead to 2-1.

Garber then erupted for eight runs in the fifth. Carly Weiler opened the inning with a double and was sacrificed to third. Then an error on a bunt put runners on second and third before Molly Braun singled home the two runs. Nicole Wood then singled Braun to third then stole second. After Caitlyn Keuvelaar was walked, Katie Neering drove home another run with a single. Kara Brewer then followed with a double pushing across two more runs raising the score to 6-2. Lashae Radeka singled home the next run and fielding errors allowed two more runs to score giving Garber a 9-2 lead.

Kara Brewer kept the Bobcats in check the rest of the way while Garber added an insurance run in the seventh. Rachel Bowker triple and Molly Braun drove her home on a ground out to short making the final 10-2.

Kara Brewer went the distance for Garber striking out 6 while giving up only 4 hits. Audrey Oleniacz pitched five innings for John Glenn striking out 6 and Sam Vineck pitched the final two innings recording one strikeout.

The second game was a pitchers duel through five inning as long time teammates, Audrey Oleniacz and Katie Neering battled. Garber struck for one run in the bottom of the first inning. Three singles by Rachel Bowker, Molly Braun and Caitlyn Keuvelaar loaded the bases. Then Katie Neering hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Bowker making it 1-0.

As it turned out this was the only run Neering would need as she pitched a solid seven innings. The Bobcats first and only real threat came in the top of the fifth. After Neering stuck out the first batter, Haley Mullard single to left and stole second base. Ashley Hoyt singled her to third and took second on the next pitch. But Neering didn't waiver as she stuck out the next two hitters keeping the score 1-0.

The Garber girls were determined to give Neering a cushion. With two outs in the sixth, Caitlyn Keuvelaar drew a walk, third of the night. Then Neering and Radeka singled to load the bases. Kara Brewer then drew a walk bringing in Keuvelaar. Nicole Wood double down the left field line scoring two more runs followed by Janelle Urban's RBI single. Bowker finished off the scoring with a ground out to second and Garber was up 6-0. Neering finished off the seventh inning striking out the final batter to complete the sweep.

On the night, Neering pitched all seven innings striking out four while Oleniacz pitched all six striking out 3.
