Central put on a hitting clinic in both games of the doubleheader to down Flint Southwestern, 16-0 and 20-0.

In the first game, catcher Jason Klopf opened the first inning with a three run homer putting Central on top, 3-0.

After pitcher Chad Sepos struck out the side in the second, the Wolves went back on the attack. Using a combination of three singles to go with three walks and one error, Central pushed across six more runs to build a 9-0 lead.

Flint avoided the no-hitter in the third when Nital recorded Flint's lone hit. Then Central went back to work in the bottom of the inning when they scored 5 times making it 14-0. The Wolves used three hits and three walks to score their five runs.

Central put the game away when three hits and a walk produced the needed runs to trigger the mercy rule and end the game in the fourth.

Lead off hitter Justin Drzewicki lead the attack going four for four and Chad Sepos collected three hits. Sepos struck out nine while giving up only one hit over the four innings he pitched.

Central only needed two and a half inning to put away Flint Southwestern in the second game. Central batted through the order twice in the first inning as they scored 12 runs to start the game. Interesting enough was that all the run came with two outs. Nate Vallender had two doubles and Carl Downing had a double and a single in the inning to lead the 7 hit attack.

Central scored eight more runs in the second inning thanks in part to Downing's second double of the game. Meanwhile, Austin Stapish struck out 7 of the nine batters he faced over the three inning before the game was called after Flint batted in the third with the score Central 20, Flint SW 0.
