BC Cental Sweeps the Baseball Doubleheader from Saginaw

Central was in no mood to waste a beautiful Monday afternoon. They took three Saginaw Trojan walks and sandwiched them around a Chad Sepos double and a Jason Klopf single to put four runs on the board in the first inning taking the lead 4-0.

The home Wolves then took out their big sticks in the second inning to tack on another four runs. Brent Precour ripped a triple bringing in Austin Stapish. Following a Nate Vallender sacrifice fly that brought in Precour, Kyle Hauger got right back at it with a double. Zack Bauer walked and came home on Klopf's two run double making it 8-0.

Central finished it off in the third behind three singles by Stapish, Precour and Vallender. Then bases loaded walks to Tommy Kramer make it 15-0 in three innings for the Central win.

Saginaw came back in the nightcap with some tougher pitching to hold the Wolves in check through much of the four innings. A lone run in the second by Central made it 1-0 after four. But the Trojans inability to generate any offense on the night caught up to them. After Jake Collins was hit by a pitch for the second time in the game, Central came to life. Singles by Jordan Priest and Deon Martin got them rolling. Then back to back triples by Carl Downing and Justin Drzewicki brought four runs across the plate making it 5-0 after five innings.

Central then finished the Trojans off in the sixth inning. Following a lead off single by Nate Vallender, Jimmy Rousse reached base on an error and Priest walked. Then a Isaac Saucedo double followed by Marin single then Downing give the final blow with a double brought in the necessary runs to make it a Wolf victory, 10-0.
