Michigan Idol's Lauren LaCourse Wins Finals on Friday Night Labadie Pig Gig

All Six Contestants Gave Their Best Performance For Labadie Pig Gig Crowd

MyBayCity.com sponsored the Michigan Idol Finals at the Labadie Pig Gig Friday, August 7, 2009 at 6PM.

According to Host of Michigan Idol Doug Dore said, "All of the contestants put on a great performance and were really, really good." Dore continued, "They all brought their 'A Game'".

Six finalists were chosen out of the last 25 week long competition held at the Stables Martini & Cigar Bar inside the Dore Riverview Complex every Thursday night starting on February 12, 2009.

Celebrity judges included, Tommy Anderson, from the band infinity and Paisley Fogg bands, Steve Armstrong, from the 25 cent beer band and winner of the 2007 Michigan Idol contest, Lynn Roberts, from Z-93, KQZ, and Chris Larocque, Pig Gig Promoter all agreed on the winner Lauren LaCourse.

LaCourse, said, "It was amazing but also very nerve racking, in the end it was the most rewarding feeling."

Michigan Idol Finalist Judge, Lynn Roberts of Z-93KQZ said, "I'm very excited to be apart of the Michigan Idol Finals" Roberts continued, "It's a wonderful way to showcase the talent of the Tri-Cities here at the Labadie Pig Gig."
