Whine, Complain, Whine, Complain -- From a ND Alum -- Class of 1965.

Wheel of Fortune (Before & After)
Golden Tate Fourcier

Notre Dame Football Coach Charlie Weis "blew it" on Saturday against the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

Weis totally mis-managed the clock during the late stages of the 4th quarter at the Ann Arbor Big House. Weis, with a series of ill-advised passing attempts, not only failed offensively as the Offensive Coordinator, but also (tragically) left enough time on the clock for Michigan's "Tate" to engineer a come-from-behind win.

FROM CNN/SPORTS ILLUSTRATED -- Weis defended his choice to put the ball in the air after Armando Allen , who ran for 139 yards, opened the pivotal drive with a 13-yard run and twisted an ankle. Robert Hughes then got the ball for the first time all day and was stuffed at the line.

'They loaded up the box and made it clear that they weren't going to let us do that, so we had to throw the ball,' Weis said. 'On third down, we could have run and made them use a timeout, but we were trying to win the game.'

CRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

Run the damn ball, Charlie.

All summer long, all you told me what a great returning offensive line Notre Dame had. You told me time and time again how deep Notre Dame was at running back. And what a great year Jimmy Clausen would have.

So . . . on second and third down . . . all you can come up with is to "air it out" to Golden Tate and to throw at a rookie receiver that doesn't even know how to run a route.

And Charlie . . . I'm not second-guessing here . . . Cuz I was standing up in my living room screaming . . . Run The "Effin" Ball, You Idiot. (Long Before ESPN started second-guessing your play selection.

Anyway . . . Nice knowing you, Charlie. Take the buyout and go back to the professional ranks. (Oh Wait!) Those passing plays you called on Saturday -- instead of taking time off the clock -- They would be considered bad football even in elementary school competition not to mention the Pro game.

Does anyone have the number for Urban Meyer ?

About the... U of M Upset... the OVERATED Notre Dame ... Horray for FORCIER I say! Very impressive on Saturday, although I only caught the tail end of game, and the rest ON highlights on ESPN.
(I still think you might be a little hard on that Charlie -guy)

Mike . . .

I agree totally. Meyer would be a fool to leave his dynasty to mop up at ND.

But this alum is fed up with the Weiss era. Saturday's play-calling nightmare was the last staw for me.

Like the Sopranos say: "Charlie . . . You are dead to me."

Hey OJ

You Golden Domers had best just crawl back in your hole so we don't have to listen to your whiny-axx crap anymore.

MI STATE will probably bust you a new one next week too.

By the time Weiss is done at ND, nobody will want the job
