The application deadline for the 2010 Institute is this Friday, November 6th, at 5:00 p.m.
As more and more initiatives are taking a regional approach, the need for leaders with a regional mindset continues to grow. A collaborative effort of the Bay Area, Midland Area and Saginaw County Chambers of Commerce, the Great Lakes Bay Regional Leadership Institute has graduated three classes of "Regional Ambassadors".
The Institute's mission is to further develop and engage leaders who are knowledgeable and dedicated to the Great Lakes Bay Region and prepared to lead regional collaborative efforts. Already, the evidence of our success can be seen... a branding initiative, advocacy, and projects focused on economic development and quality of life. These and other initiatives currently moving the Great Lakes Bay Region forward could not happen without a support base of Regional Ambassadors that is being assembled through the Institute. Join us now and be part of our regional success story.
The Institute begins in mid-January and concludes in June. Class size is limited and organizers are aiming for equal representation from each county. Curriculum is wide-ranging and features national speakers plus opportunity to create action proposals for regional issues and challenges. For application materials
