Is It Too Early to Talk About Labadie PIG GIG 2010 ???
As of January 1, 2010 there are 216 Days Till Labadie Pig Gig! Summer is Almost Here!!
What do you think of when you flip on to your 2010 Calendar?
I have to admit, in my office I have two calendars a desk calendar (current) and then a wall calendar that is always set one month ahead. (I work with deadlines, so I'm always looking ahead)
So when I switched my wall calendar (In December) to January 2010 . . . I did . . . Think of Pig Gig! :) And then who else would I think of then head of Labadie Pig Gig, Wendy Dore!!
When I asked Dore, President of Doreable Entertainment, that question, she said, "No way, it's never to early"!
In fact, what most people don't realize, it's a year-round job for Dore.
According to Dore, she has started booking the entertainment early and is also excited about a new & upcoming group, that definitely has the superstar status!
Rib Competitors from across the country and even Australia come in to vie for the title of 'The Best Ribs in the Midwest' at Veterans Memorial Park in Bay City. Attendees can vote for their favorite ribs. They can also vote for their favorite celebrity ribs during the Celebrity Rib Cook-off on Friday at Noon, when it's free admission.
Get ready for all rib tasting, the fun and entertainment including, all Concerts, Pigalicious Tasting Trough (FREE Food demonstration tent), Family stage activities, Pig Racing Shows, K-9 Dog Shows, Special Contests, Lowes Kids Kraft area, Ronald McDonald on Saturday, State Farm Hospitality Tent, Covenant Health Care Hospitality Tent, plus more!
