Not Looking To Get 'Hollywood Ripped'
I just want to fit into my old jeans.

"I'm going to look and feel better in the New Year."
With 2010 right around the corner, New Year's Resolutions are already in the minds of thousands of people.
I too am among the sea of hopefuls ready to change my life in 2010. My resolution is very cliché. "I'm going to look and feel better in the New Year."
This obviously is a decree that some of us make almost every year. We look up the hottest gimmick, ask for the DVD or membership for Christmas, and by Valentines Day have long forgotten the so important "resolution" we made.
This year however, I am going to do something different. I'm not going to search for a trend, or a quick fix. I am going to look for a plan to be healthier for long term. I feel I am in the right frame of mind, and finally ready to get fit and stay fit. I want to find a plan I can maintain throughout the year.
So now the question is, what exactly am I looking for?
The problem I face is over 30lbs of baby weight on my body. Which also means having a little one; I am strapped for time and money. I need a place where I can get results, but only have to dedicate 45min to an hour 4 times a week. Also I do not want to spend more than $30 a month on a membership. Diapers, and groceries for my family already cost too much. I'm not trying to get "Hollywood ripped"
I just want to fit in my old jeans.
Over the next couple of days I am going to do research on local Bay City gyms calling them not as a representative of mybaycity.com, but as an overweight mom in need of a real solution.
I wonder if I will find a gym that is affordable, convenient, and willing to help me without hiring a personal trainer.
Does this gym exist in Bay City?

i would also think you should go to bay city fitness, i've been there for 2 yrs now there open 24hrs and they help the average people with trainings for free.
I think you will find the other places around more of a gym feel. I hope this helps and hope to see you there sometime
