St. Boniface Church was host the Bay Music Foundation's annual scholarship competition this past Saturday. The entire morning the people at that event were tempted, treated and tormented by the mouth watering smell of backing cookies, cakes, brownies and other delectable goodies as the kids in the Parish Faith Formation class prepared for a Sunday Bake Sale.

Diane Seidel was in charge of the kitchen. She said that the class sponsors a little girl in Peru. They hold bottle and can drivers, the bake sale, and other fundraisers so that they can send money each month.

Thankfully the girls took pity on the Bay Music crowd and brought out a tray of warm brownies. At 50ยข each they were gone in no time. Next time the two groups overlap, they promised to give the brownies away for free, as long as you bought a $5 cup of cold milk to wash them down.
