Bay City's Tri-Athlete, Ann Gasta
Inspires Chamber's ENERGIZE Group

ENERGIZE Bay Area Young Professionals Network held their bi-monthly meet recently at Midland Street Jacks.

Emcee was Tricia Lathrom of Independent Bank. Over 80 members as well as non-members joined together as the group welcomed the warmer days of spring with an informational luncheon focusing on Health & Fitness and its importance in both our professional and personal lives.

The mission of The Energize group is to attract, engage and retain young professionals in the greater Bay Area.

According to Energize member, Andrew Kornecky, anyone at any age may join the group. Kornecky explains, the name 'Young' professionals is inspired by feeling 'young at heart'.

The group has over 100 members. Cost to join is $30.00 for 3 years.

And who better to have as key note speaker, (Above Right) Ann Gasta Vice President of Bay Area Runners Club. Gasta is also a current tri-athlete and with a bachelor's degrees in both Exercise Science and Nursing and to add to it, a Mother of four.

Gasta brought a wealth of information and inspiration on how to lead a healthy and productive life. Including a daily self-check, taking care of yourself number one, staying healthy for your family, as a parent being a good roll model.

Gasta says, "If you don't put fitness in your life, it will be a shorter life."

Take that first step into a healthy life; Make that Mind-set add Discipline , Healthy Diet, Interact with People for Positive Support.
