On Saturday, March 20, 2010 Kid's 12 and under raced along JFK drive in front of Community Center, in Bay City.
It was the Youth Leprechaun Run which included an 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile races.
First day of spring took a turn with an over-cast sky, light snow, and temperatures in the 30's. But the kid's toughed it out along with their parents!
All participants were handed out medals by the Bay City Fire Rescue.
"These kids are the future of our Sunday's Al Kayner's St Pat's Races." said, Race Director Ann Gasta. "We are proud of their accomplishment, specially in today's weather conditions." Gasta continued.

Approximately 40 degrees and the sun came out just after the race, but weather conditions were nothing to complain about.
