I was reading sports coverage of Major League Baseball on CNNSI.com (Sports Illustrated) and saw that Joba Chamberlain would not be in the New York Yankee starting rotation come Opening Day.

This (to me) was important stuff.

So I mentioned it (over morning coffee) to my lovely wife Donna.

"Who," she asked without looking up from her magazine.

"Joba Chamberlain," I repeated.

"Nobody's named Joba," she laughed. "Except maybe Jabba The Hutt from Star Wars," she was still laughing.

This got me thinking about people that have "THE" as their middle name ---- Remember the old joke? What do Alexander the Great and Smokey The Bear have in common? ANSWER: They have the same middle name.

So I started listing all of the peeps I know that have "THE" as their middle name. Actually, there are quite a few.

Here's a list of First Names . . . On The Left . . .

And a list of Last Names . . . On the Right . . .

The thing they all have in common is that they all have "THE" as their middle name.

Only one thing . . . I mixed up all the names and now you have to print the page . . . put the number of the first name next to the "correct" last name . . . and then FAX it to me at (989) 892-6833. Whoever gets the most right (the fastest) gets 4 "free" tickets to the Friday April 23rd Prime Event Center concert featuring the AEROSMITH Tribute Band " Toys in the Attic."
