The Easter Season has begun!

Redeeming Love Christian Embassy presented their annual production of Bay City's Passion Play Musical & Dinner Theater March 31st through April 3, 2010.

Pastor & Darlene Englehart welcomed family, friends, as well as the public to celebrate Easter with them at their annual production of "Bay City's Passion Play". This year's theme, 'Through the eyes of a Temple Guard'.

The play includes 13 scenes including a intermission with a prayer by Pastor Englehart.

According to Pastor Englehart, all 3 shows were sold-out, Thursday Through Saturday. Dinner seating approximately 130. And a dress rehearsal on Wednesday which was free to the public.

The play is produced, directed and narrated by Apostle Jeff Englehart. Choreographer by Kilah Robetoy assisted by Sarah Holmes.

Nelson Salgado, 37 of Saginaw, has portrayed the role of Jesus, for the past 9 years. Salgado, said, "Playing the part of Jesus in our yearly Passion play is very humbling. Every year while playing the part I try to imagine what it would have been like to actually have been Jesus, the emotions are too powerful and overwhelming." Salgado continued, "I know we've done a good job when people tell me the performance made them cry! It tells me they felt those emotions as well."

Redeeming Love Embassy is located on 3051 Kiesel, next to John Glenn High School in Bay City.

The play production cast along with prop & set builders, costumes, hair, make-up, sound, audio and the Dinner Theater Coordinators and servers, (Dinner was catered by Krzysiak's Restaurant, Bay City) involves well over 100 people participating to make it all possible for a successful & inspiring production of The Passion of Jesus Christ.

Below is a video excerpt of the extraordinary & moving performance.
