Formerly Lumber Barons

On March 22, 2010 The Big House Poker Room moved down historic Midland Street in Bay City to BART'S located at 804 Midland Street (formerly Lumber Barons).

The Big House Charity Poker Room has raised well over $200,000 for local charities since its opening in 2008.

The move has been a huge success with more players, more winning, and more revenue for charities. 7 nights a week, charities host Millionaire Parties at BART'S from 6:00pm-2:00am.

There are nightly Texas hold'em tournaments at 7:00pm with buy-in's from $5 to $50 depending on the night.

Texas Hold'em cash games go on all night. Blackjack from $1-$10, Big 6 Money Wheel, and Roulette are also played.

The players WIN just like at the casinos. The charities make money off the rake, % of tournament money, and heads up in roulette and blackjack.

Coming soon . . . 3 card poker and "let it ride" will be added to the offerings from the charities once written approval is received from the state. Gamblers can sample one of 10 beers brewed on site and word on the street say to "check out the new and exiting food menu."

Every four days a new charity has the opportunity to host the games. Past and upcoming charities include:

Boys and Girls Club, Moose Lodge, Women of the Moose, Multiple Sclerosis, Bay City Jaycees, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Area Family Charities, Crimestoppers, Bay City Fireworks, Elks, Bay Area Housing, Gateway Sportsman's, John Glenn Booster Club, Pinconning Booster Club, and Vietnam Vets.
