Front Line Dance Company showcased their 11th annual dance recital on June 4, 2010.

This show performance is not your ordinary dance recital, with the great choreography of Sarah Holmes, the shows focus is God.

Over 30 acts and performances with a variety of song and dance, drums, skits, music, and solo acts. It is a very inspiring and faith forming production.

Adding to the ambiance of performance the recital was held at the Beautiful restored State Theater in Downtown Bay City.

Holmes, commented, "I think a good time was had by all, you could see it in the dancers. Dance should be fun, and above all, I know that the dancers believed in the beauty inside. I am so proud of them!"

"I was totally blown away by this dance recital!! When I signed my daughter up to take lessons at Redeeming Love Christian Embassy, I never expected a recital this grand." said a parent of a student of the Front Line Dance Ministry.

"Thanks to Sarah Holmes for instilling confidence and encouraging these dancers to dance and worship before the Lord. Your dedication and love for Christ illuminates in your dancers." Sheila Johnroe said.

We At Front Line Dance Company . . .

  • . . . have a passion for the students to see the beauty that is within them.

  • . . . aspire for students to develop a love for the dance, music and the arts.

  • . . . believe students should leave class feeling built up, and never torn down.

  • . . . desire for students to perceive their physical bodies in a healthy way. It is not about how thin or 'perfect' a body can be, but about having a healthy balance between mind, body and spirit.

  • . . . know that smaller class size offers more personal teacher-student communication.

  • . . . train students in the physical discipline necessary to develop a larger range of motion, improved stretching, good posture, proper dance techniques.

  • . . . encourage creativity as students use what they've learned and their own God-given abilities to choreograph something that is their own.

  • . . . recognize that our experience of 10 years so far gives great perspective and wisdom for our next 10 years.
